The New World Order of Fantasy Sports!

Why Rank your fantasy league/team with StatChat?
Compete. Compare. Comradery.

It is estimated by the Fantasy Sports Trade Association that 35 million people aged twelve and above in the US and Canada played fantasy sports in 2011. Have you ever wondered how your fantasy league or team would compare if it were ranked nationally? It’s time to find out.

StatChat’s National Ranking System provides the ultimate fantasy league experience. Having your fantasy league or team registered on StatChat will quickly solve the biggest question fantasy players face today: "Whose fantasy league has the most experienced and toughest team owners?" Our ranking system provides that answer.

Why Rank? Who doesn’t want bragging rights? That’s what this is all about, right? Well, if winning the title of "The Nation’s Toughest Fantasy League" doesn’t appeal to you, maybe you can relate to one or more of the following perspectives:

The Commissioner:
I’ve been a fantasy football league commissioner for 8 years. I’ve been playing fantasy football even longer than that. You don’t know me, but I wouldn’t lie. What I’m about to say is the truth. I have the best fantasy league in the nation! I mean c’mon…there’s a waiting list to even get in my fantasy league. My team owners stay active on the waiver wire, make educated trades, and have the talent to make the tough decisions on who sits or starts so their team isn't leaving points wasted on the bench on a weekly basis. I enjoy talking with other Commissioners as we quickly relate to what it takes to run a successful fantasy league year in and year out. Our conversations consist of triumphant stories of previous champs and comical stories regarding team owner miracles. I talk about my fantasy leagues more than my wife or my kids. If I could carry a picture of my fantasy league in my wallet I would show it to people in the check-out line at the grocery store. Commissioners share tips, ideas, and even stories of troubled times. But, at the end of the day, I’m left wondering, how does my fantasy league really compare? How would it compare against all the other fantasy leagues in this country? For example, my brother’s fantasy league - I know my fantasy league’s team owners could compete and beat that fantasy league easily.

This is one of the reasons StatChat’s National Ranking System was created. We operate on the principles of 3 C’s (Compete, Compare, Comradery) as we answer every Commissioner’s question: “Whose fantasy league is the best?”

The Team Owner:
A team owner holds their fantasy league in high regard.  They have battle wounds and awards to show just how tough each season has been and when two team owners from different fantasy leagues cross paths, they are both ready to uphold that fantasy team pride and the league shield. This usually begins with a casual conversation about how their fantasy team has fared this far into the season and what stand out player has performed incredibly on the fantasy team.  This usually evokes some competitive spirit and talk about who has the toughest fantasy league. Neither team owner is going to accept that they are second best. The owners must then walk away wondering just how to prove this unanswered question. With StatChat’s National Ranking System, you don’t have to wonder anymore. Now one of the first questions will be, “Is your fantasy league ranked?"

The 21 Questions:
Over the past 3 seasons I've noticed a trend among fantasy team owners. A simple talk about fantasy football isn’t so simple anymore. I meet most fantasy sports players at the office, a store, on the phone (with yes…a telemarketer), or at any gathering. It starts out easy enough with all that general talk about fantasy leagues but then the questions start. It goes something like this:
  •     Is that a 12 or 10 person fantasy league?
  •     Is it a keeper fantasy league?
  •     Is it a PPR fantasy league?
  •     Do you guys use a flex
  •     What positions can be used at the flex?
  •     Is it an IDP fantasy league?
  •     Oh by the way what are your starting positions?
  •     What site is the fantasy league on?
  •     Is it a pay fantasy league?
  •     How much is in the pot?
  •     How old is this league?
  •     And on and on and on….

Shall I continue? By the time those questions get answered, guess what a great conversation just turned into a one-sided Q&A session. There’s almost never enough time to answer all those questions before going your separate ways. Instead of an interrogation session, just ask…Let’s see if you’ve been paying attention…. That’s right! Just ask, “Is your fantasy league ranked?”
How Stat Chat compares fantasy leagues from different web hosting sites.

Stat Chat compares fantasy leagues from different webhosts (YAHOO, ESPN, CBS, etc.) by using a revolutionary patent pending idea which standardizes fantasy team and fantasy league formats so that you are comparing apples to apples instead of apples to oranges. Each fantasy league or team must meet certain standardizing requirements to qualify for entry into StatChat’s National Ranking System and it’s an easy process. For fantasy leagues, your fantasy league's commissioner will select the criteria which best fits your fantasy league. StatChat will verify that each fantasy league meets compatibility guidelines for our ranking system. Afterwards, we will approve eligible fantasy leagues to face off against other fantasy leagues across the country. StatChat will compare fantasy leagues using their statistical information from their fantasy sports host but including StatChat’s scoring ranking system.
StatChat does all the work. You do all the bragging.
